Barbara Ann “Pillsbury” Brown, a cherished native of Lake City,South Carolina, was born on September 16, 1959, to the late Charles Jr. Brown and Minnie Bell Singletary Brown. 

    Barbara Ann peacefully departed this life on February 9, 2026.She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. 

     Barbara was known for her radiant smile and her heart of gold. She found joy in caring for her flowers, preparing delicious meals to share with family and friends, and filling her home with music, laughter, and warmth. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed spending time in her kitchen watching her favorite westerns, The Rifleman, and Tyler Perry movies. These simple moments brought her great happiness and created lasting memories for those she loved. 

     Barbara was a proud graduate of Lake City High School, Class of 1977. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Jr. Brown. Left to cherish her precious memories are her loving mother, Minnie Bell Brown; her devoted siblings, Thelma Brown, Charles D. Brown (Tina), and Jessie F. Brown (Dionne); her beloved nieces and nephews, David Singletary, Maretta Singletary, Minnie Brown, Trevon Billings, Franklin Billings, Dezhane Brown, and Jaziah Billings; the children she lovingly raised, Lashawn, Jazymn, and Baby Jazmoine; her special friend, Frank Singletary; her bestfriend, Gail Brown; her special cousin, Tracy Thompson; and a host of other relatives and dear friends. 

     Barbara Ann will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the love she shared so freely. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
