Jerry Cockfield

Jerry Cockfield , the son of Mary E. McFadden and the

late David McFadden, was born August 10, 1959 of Olanta, South Carolina was raised by his grandparents the late Phillip and Alorise Nero Cockfield. He was preceded in death by his brother Anthony Cockfield and Glady Ann Cockfield.

He received his education in the public schools of Florence County. He met Julie McKenzie, fell in love and got married to a woman who has preceded him in death. He entered into eternal rest early Monday, December 1st, 2025 at MUSC Health of Florence.

Jerry leaves to cherish his memories with his mother: Mary E. McFadden of Lake City, SC; four sisters: Sylvester Burgess of the home of Florence, SC, Amy McFadden of Coward, SC, Ella (Michael) James and Patsy McFadden (Charles Smith) of Lake City, SC; eight brothers: Timmy (Vanessa) McFadden of Concord, NC, Randy (Judy) McFadden, David McFaddin, Mickey (Eula) McFadden all of Lake City, SC, David Jr, (Lekeshia) McFadden, Clarence McFadden both of Myrtle Beach, SC, Anthony McFadden and Chris McFadden both of Columbia, SC; God-daughter: Roslind Brown; as his grandchildren: Ninja and Joshua Brown; special caregiver Tamikia (George) Morrison, whom is also his niece that he Loves so much; and Terry Cockfield and Delene McFadden of Lake City, SC, whom was raised like a brother and sister.
