Linda Gainey

Ms. Gainey enter into rest on January 1st, 2026. Ms. Gainey was born on April 2, 1957 in Concord, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Jerome Gainey and Lily M. Gainey. She was a nurse for many years for several doctors in Society Hill and Hartsville, South Carolina. She helped anyone in the community that needed her. She loved traveling to the ocean in the North Carolina mountains.

She loved her family and friends with all her heart.

She is survived by her son Dennis Drew Jr. and daughter: Wendy, O’Neal, grandchildren: Billy, O’Neal, Drew O’Neal, Jerry O’Neal Callie O’Neal all of Hartsville, SC, and Candace Harvey of Sterling, Colorado; three sisters: JoAnn Watford - Nell Gainey and Darlene Jackson and a numerous of great-grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by brother: Jerry Gainey, sisters: Dorothy Gainey and Robbie Kivley.
