Steven Edward Young, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and Navy veteran, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and dedication to his family and country.

Steven was born on August 28, 1959, in Appleton, Wisconsin, to Ruth and Ronald Young. From an early age, Steven developed a strong sense of duty and commitment. At just 17 years old, he answered the call to serve his country and joined the United States Navy.

Steven dedicated 20 years of his life to the Navy, serving with honor, courage, and distinction. His military career was a source of great pride, and he ultimately retired in 1997 with the rank of Lieutenant. His years of service reflected the strength, discipline, and devotion that were such an important part of who he was.

Beyond his service to his country, Steven’s greatest joy was his family. He shared 38 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, who was the love and partner of his life. Together, they built a life filled with memories, love, and family.

Steven is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years; his son; his granddaughter, who brought him tremendous joy; his brother; and his sister. He will be deeply missed by his family and by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Steven will be remembered not only for his service as a Navy Lieutenant and veteran, but also as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. His life was one of commitment to his country, to his family, and to the people he loved.

Though he is no longer with us, the memories he created and the love he gave will remain in the hearts of his family forever.
