Makayla C. Barr is the founder and funeral director of Shepherd's Funeral Home, with a Bachelors in Exercise Science with a Minor in Chemistry from Coker University of Hartsville, SC and a Master's in Molecular Medicine form the Liberty University of Lynchburg, VA. She is dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized funeral services to her clients. She understands that every family is different and has unique needs and preferences, and she works closely with each family to ensure that their loved one's funeral service is a meaningful and memorable tribute.

Manager, Funeral Director and Embalmer
Bertha McCrimmon-Murphy is the manager, licensed funeral director and embalmer at Shepherd's Funeral Home. She is passionate about serving families during their time of bereavement, with 20 years of experience as a licensed funeral director and embalmer. Her expectation for Shepherd’s Funeral Home consists of broad and new modern skills that will produce remarkable lasting in precessions for the families we serve. The diversity of people in this world brings about many divergent families and cultures that signify and celebrate death and the disposition in many different aspects. Katelyn C. Barr is the Committee Member of Shepherd's Funeral Home. She is a Distinguished Honor Graduate of The Carolina Academy of Lake City, SC and is currently attending The University of South Carolina of Columbia, SC, Majoring in Cardiovascular Technology.
